The St Alban’s Festival, held at Holy Ghost Church, organised by the Luton and Dunstable Pastoral Area Council brought Catholics together to hear inspirational speakers and to share ideas and good news via a market Place of stalls.

It proved to be a very fruitful event and very worthwhile for those who were able to attend with participants saying they enjoyed being part of it, the lovely atmosphere, that they met lots of people providing good networking opportunities. The Knights of St Columba gained four Knights after the festival.

Goodnews Books, a little gem in our town, based at St John the Apostle Church provided a much-valued stall. (www.goodnewsbooks.co.uk)

The festival concluded with Mass presided over by Monsignor Kevin (Holy Ghost) supported by Fr Allan (Sacred Heart), Fr Ugo (St Margaret of Scotland), Fr Eustace (St Margaret of Scotland), Fr Simon (St Martin de Porres) and Deacon Erik (St Joseph’s).
